Agames have been chanting ስለ ማርያም for so long that they actually expect the world to feed them. They get mad if aid stops for any reason. The beggar syndrome is deeply engrained in the Agame psyche. But last year, the world had had enough and USAID and FOA terminated doling free food. Agames then got the message. That is why they are expressing their gratitude now.
