Abiy has become a victim of himself, as he has lately gradually been cancelling himself

Under Abiye Ahmed's leadership, the Ethiopian National Defense Force is involved in horrific acts. Instead of upholding peace, the government's actions are betraying the very people they are supposed to safeguard. My query is about the various facets of Abiy's incompetence, an embarrassment for generations to come!

Since August 2023, over 200 Amhara women were reported as victims of sexual violence and gang abuse, as documented by the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission.

Who can feel secure residing in Ethiopia when the Ethiopian National Defense Force is terrorizing communities, committing heinous human rights violations, and steering the country towards indescribable circumstances?

I am dedicated to labor for peace every single day.
Abiy's oath!

A year later, he initiated conflict, reigniting ethnic tensions, contrary to the aspirations of foreign policy establishments. How can a Nobel Peace Prize recipient still maintain an active title while presiding over a nation experiencing genocide like #WarOnAmhara and #AmharaGenocide?

I will persist in challenging until justice is served, and accountability is upheld.

He'll soon face ONLF's wrath as well, it seems.

Abiy Ahmed's NEW cúnning scheme involves reshaping the Somali State into a federal city while maintaining the status quo for other federal cities in Ethiopia. Trying to destory the Somali region. Also it appears his latest tactic is to impede the export of Somali livestock – camels, cattle, sheep, and goats. His new strategy involves establishing a livestock center in Mille, Afar region, seemingly aimed at crippling the livelihoods of innocent people in the Somali State by controlling their ability to freely trade livestock across borders. The ultimate goal is to centralize livestock sales in Mille, possibly to undercut prices and hinder economic growth for the Somali people in Ethiopia.

One year on, peace holds in Tigray, but Ethiopia still fractured

An accord signed a year ago between the rivals in Ethiopia’s Tigray war has brought peace to the shattered region but ignited yet another conflict in the increasingly fractured nation.

In November 2022, Ethiopia’s federal government and the rebellious authorities of Tigray agreed to a ceasefire during talks in South Africa after two years of bloodshed and atrocities that killed hundreds of thousands of people.

With the guns silent at last, Ethiopia’s northern region has begun the task of rebuilding.
I am surprised how fast the situation changed in one year. … We are still far from pre-war, but it improved quite a bit,
said one member of a non-governmental organisation active in Tigray who requested anonymity to freely discuss the situation.

The war, which also drew in Eritrean forces, inflicted terrible damage on the region. Ethiopian Finance Minister Ahmed Shide recently estimated the cost of reconstruction in the battle-scarred north at $20bn.

Outside Tigray’s capital, Mekele, the restoration of electricity, telecommunications and banking services has been
very slow and gradual,

said a teacher at a university in the region who asked not to be identified.

Close to 90 percent of Tigray’s health facilities were damaged or destroyed in the conflict, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) report.
Health facilities were looted. For some, you only still have a shell, a concrete shell,
the NGO worker said.

"As a result of the [peace] agreement, the normalisation of relations between Tigray and the government of Ethiopia saw a simultaneous rupture between the Amhara and the federal government," said the Institute for Security Studies, a think tank based in South Africa. [Phill Magakoe/AFP]

Does this guy think people live in Beshasha? Or does he knows there is this thing called “google” where people simply could search for a speech and find it if it is plagiarized or not?

This really is a challenge to the Ethiopian people to assess the perceived competence of their past and present leaders who brought them nothing but embarrassment, shame, and humiliation, not to mention the lingering stigma associated with famine that prompted the Oxford dictionary to use the name Ethiopia as an example for the word famine....etc...etc. All these got to stop at some point, but no one is unfortunately making the effort. :|

I finally want to read his dissertation for his Ph.D. It is disheartening to think about the Ethiopians who have truly dedicated themselves to earning their Ph.D. degrees, for they must feel slighted by those who claim the title without deserving it. The majority of Ethiopians may have been confounded when confronted with a genuine Ph.D. holder referring to themselves as a legitimate Ph.D. Doctor.

Abiy Exemplifies what is meant by "little knowledge is dangerous!" He wants to appear profound and knowledgeable but does not have it within himself to create profound thoughts. So he scours the web and mimics what he considers to be quotable. There is nothing wrong with quoting others as long as one acknowledges that he is doing so. Abiy's tragedy is that he tries to pass other people's words as his. That is the worst sin a person with a PhD. can commit. Plagiarism is theft. It is the most degrading act a public figure can commit specially in this day and age when plagiarists can be exposed within minutes of their act. What is galling is that Abiy does not seem to recognize how degrading it is. Such lack of judgement is what makes him take a loaded gun, insert it in his assss and pull the trigger!

In reality, his PhD is not a doctorate degree, which embodies scholarly achievements, specialization, and the advancement of knowledge within a particular field. It's rather a honorary doctorate, which is somehow a ceremonial doctorate, which can be revoked from you at anytime, as this was the case of Robert Mugabe who was given a honorary degree by the University of Edinburgh and who was stripped of his honorary degree 20 years later when he got in conflict with Britain.
