This is one Ethiopian famous and favorite myth about the low IQ local warlord, Alula, and his suppose horse was drinking Red Sea water. First off, the local warlord never ventured outside his little region of Chigray, let alone to cross the most hottest desert of Denkel to reach to the Red Sea. No one would ever survive tricking the 600 plus km desert trip even on this age.

Next, scientists haven’t found one single horse that would drink a highly deadly salty water and walk….let alone walk back another 600km plus back to Chigray.
