After hearing the Eritrean govt almost silent warning he did 180* and start to shiver his a’ss and said that he was misunderstood to be blamed after he said that sooner or later (next generation) will get Assab to saying Ethiopia respects its neighbors and will never attack or contemplate to attack them ( as if Ethiopia can win any war by the way).
Now, yes he retracted his last week empty gurra, but if he really was honest he shouldn’t have said that Ethiopia never attacked or harmed neighboring countries for the fact that it is only Ethiopia which attacked Eritrea and harmed our people in the last 70 years plus.
He should have specifically mentioned his previous leaders attacks and damaged to the Eritrean people and apologized on their behalf. Because Ethiopia never attacked any other country is a fat lie. So, if that fat lie is not confronted or accepted Eritrea won’t believe that the stupid Assab dream is not in his or his future generation rats cone heads.
Any way one can say that him bringing the Assab issue (even though he now he seems to drop it) is a blessing in disguise. The vassal Assab issue, he indirectly killed it, by saying that what is needed is talks with neighboring countries for win win situations. And that was, is and will always be Etitrea’s policies.
Yes Eritrea will always provide what it has to the needy countries and it hops that it gets the same acts from the others.
But for the others sake, they better respect Eritrea’s owns and abide by Eritrea’s rules and regulations to use them, just like Eritrea will abide by their rules if it needs some thing from them.
