There is an undeclared hateful war that Eritrea's authoritarian regime is waging against Afar people, Even though no population census has ever been carried out in Eritrea, the authoritarian regime is constantly exaggerating and maximizing the number of the tiny Rashaida people who are living in Eritrea while minimizing the number of Afar people, see wikipedia e.g.

Moreover, almost a decade ago, the authoritarian regime exhumed the bones of Afars who had been buried centuries ago on Kebir Island in order to undermine Afars presence and ownership of Dahlak Archipelago, they were searching for any traces of ancient Semitic civilization in Afar Islands, they are very much obsessed with Arabs.

In reality, the Rashaida people are a very small handful of immigrant desert dwellers, they have no land of their own in Eritrea and they represent zero percent of the Eritrea's population, Afars are the third largest ethnic group in Eritrea and Afar state is the second largest region of Eritrea making 40% of the total area. Stop the hateful war.

one subject at time, this thread is about opening Afair embassy in Addis Ababa.. all Afair citizen will be granted visa free to Ethiopia and they can iive just like Ethiopian citizen and if they want to the can go to univeristy they will get equal serice as Ethiop;ian citizen because they never choice to break away from Ethiopia we belive they r Ethiopian hence we treat them as such ...

What your leaders and your people failed to know and understand is Tigray's problem is solved in Eritrea and by Eritreans. They are the closet to you. It was a huge mistake to quarrel with Eritrea. You can live apart from the rest of Ethiopia but I don't see that when it comes to Eritrea. make a peace.

Ethosh; you are not understanding me: I didn't ask what your preference is, i am telling as a people, it is natural for you to live in peace with Eritreans.
