European Union Versus African Union

Post by Fiyameta » 17 Oct 2023, 22:26

It is quite remarkable that the European continent, which for much of its modern history was embroiled in wars, now seems to be one of the most stable regions of the world. Since the end of World War 2, no wars have been fought in Europe. The Treaty of Rome established on 25 March 1957, created the European Economic Community (EEC) based on the idea that European countries that trade with one another become economically interdependent to such an extent that war between them would be impossible. It worked.

Soon after winning its independence, Eritrea proposed a similar idea to all its neighbors to help promote regional economic cooperation and integration between them, and the idea was well received and by 1996 the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) was established, consisting of Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan and Uganda. (South Sudan joined later.)

The Neo-colonial powers didn't like the idea of African countries trading with each other which would eliminate conflicts between them, so they hijacked IGAD and used it as a tool to destabilize the Horn of Africa region.

How did they do that?

IGAD's one-year rotational chairmanship agreement that was supposed to be implemented in alphabetical order of member countries became obsolete when the Neo-colonial powers allowed their TPLF slaves to hold IGAD's chairmanship for 10 years from 2008 to 2018. When some member states objected to Tigray terrorists' refusal to step down from the chairmanship, the Neo-colonial powers threatened to impose sanctions and withhold aid.

IGAD's conflict prevention agreement meant to prevent member states from invading or attacking other member states was violated in 2009 when Tigray terrorists invaded member state Somalia. And since the Tigray terrorists with the help of their Neo-colonial masters had refused to step down from IGAD's chairmanship after their term ended in 2008, their invasion of Somalia was accomplished without any objection, except for Eritrea that suspended its membership in protest to the invasion of a fellow member state. Eritrea got sanctioned for standing up against the injustice.

As you can see, Africa's number one enemies are the mercenaries that sell their own mothers for $1.

Let the mercenaries sell their own mothers for a dollar or less. We are not part of them.

When leaders of developing countries abdicate their responsibilities to their own people and start promoting the agendas of developed nations for their own personal gain, they deprive their own people from the benefits of regional economic integration and trade agreements crucial for growth and development, instead they borrow more money from the IMF that they cannot afford to pay back, and when they go broke, they turn to the IMF for a bailout package whose condition is to further isolate the countries from regional partnerships.
