Deviding Amara, Somali and Oromia Like the South to Foster Ethiopia with Geo-Federation is Loading!
Deviding the South in to four smaller regions (Sidama, Southwest Ethiopia, Central Eth and South Eth) is effectively done. Recently, the command post already divided Amara region into four (West Amara, Northwest Am, East Am and Central Shoa) indicating the future possible regions. Then will surely follow division of Oromia into six regions (West Oromia, Southwest Or, Central Or, East Or, South Or and Southeast Or). If what is now circulating in social media that Dr. Abiy and his regime are planning to change the existing ethnic pseudo-federation to civic geo-federation is true, then I would like to advise the PM to make sure that Afaan Oromo shall be the primary national and working language of the federation, replacing Amharigna. In case Afaan Oromo is promoted to this legitimate primary position, then no problem in having the planned new geo-federation instead of ethno-federation. I would like to suggest that the following be the future member federal states:
1. Tigrai with capital ……. Meqele
2. Wolqait ……….. Humera
3. Afar ………….Semera
4. Agaw & Qimant …….. Gondar
5. Begemidir ……….D/Tabor
6. Gojjam ……. B/ Dar
7. Shoa ….. D/Berihan
8, North Oromia (Wallo & Raya)……… Desse
9. Central Oromia (Shoa) ..… Adama
10. West Oromia (Wollaga) ……. Naqamte
11. South West Oromia (Ilu & Jimma) …….. Jimma
12. East Oromia (Hararge including Harari) …… Harar
13. South East Oromia (Arsi & Bale) ……. Robe
14. South Oromia (Borana & Guji) ………. Negele

Working language of each state can be multiple based on the population represented there and should be determined by the respective state councils. Such Ethiopia, where Afaan Oromo shall be the primary working language of all federal institutions like the palace, parlament, government, courts, military, security, … etc is not disadvantageous for the Oromo. Such Ethiopia will be de facto Oropia (Oromumma led country), which is bigger than Oromia. But, not yet answered challenging question is whether Abiy Ahmed and his prosperitan Oromo followers habe gut to realize this noble original vision of Dr. Haile Fida.
