These are the so called Amhara politicians.
Asamenaw Tsige, Andargachew Tsige, Eskinder Nega, Gedu Andargachew, and countless more. All were given their freedom (or perhaps also freed unjustifiably) or promotion by Abiy Ahmed and they made him their enemy nr. One afterwards.
There are also Oromo Backstabbers, but on the scale of those from the Amhara community these take a very back seat.

Re: The Backstabbers Nr. One in the Country
A lot of those guys you mentioned are opportunists, Oromo-haters & just as 'tribal' as those of us they accuse of being 'tribal.'
When rebellions sparked in other regions, including Abiy's home-Oromia, the army responded with full force (Drones, special forces, militias, police, and of course, like it or not; war crimes and atrocities)), and in Tigray we know what occurred, yet when it occurs elsewhere they call for dialogue, and this, and that. Which is fine, if they have that same belief and energy for ALL conflicts, not just the ones in their 'tribal' region.
The fano thing is, you have people like shaleka dawit, who are openly saying they wish to overthrow the govt, and install their own govt and then install their own form of governance that they wish (which means, a system that benefits Amara's, perhaps just their elites, since their peasants haven't benefited much from their rule in the past, and doesn't benefit others).
if that's the case, why would they cry and be surprised if the govt fights back? did they expect flowers and hallmark cards?
Any govt in the world, whether it be the most righteous and pious one, or the most tyrannical one, would do the same.
I don't condone war crimes, but ....

It is over.
Cry all day or kill your self.
Justice for the 3 million killed by Abiye is on the way.
