tdf had a political party, 70% of the country's heavy weapons, most of the endf generals, the support of the regional government, the regional special forces, police and militia.

fano on the other hand has none of this. it fought with light arms against the regional militia, police and federal army and wiped them out all in just 4 months

iI destroyed the regional government and its structure in a short period of time, controlling many towns and cities and leading to the collapse of the regional government

endf and regional forces could not disarm a single fano and no fano has surrendered while fano has captured and disarmed so many ENDF soldiers

fano is much more impressive. i don't understand how they achieved such strength in a short period without a leading party or central organization. it is puzzling to me

the last four months have shown it was the amhara and eritrean forces that really broke the backbone of tplf we now understand why tplf hates both

To be fair, the TPLF foolishly made enemies left and right, and ended up fighting ENDF/Fano/Eritrea/regional militias sent by Abiy/and more.
Their leaders failed them big time and set them up for that epic failure.

On Fano:
A lot of Fano members have experience from the war against TDF/TPLF, having arms is a culture there and they know how to fight, they have the advantage of being more numerous, and of fighting on their own turf which is much bigger than Tigray and perfect for guerrilla war against a conventional army, etc, so if they weren't better than TDF: that would be sad and a shame. They SHOULD be better. Whether it be guerrilla or conventional, they should be better.
Guerrilla warfare in those rough mountains would make any army dread the idea of fighting there.
The question is: how long can they last? and what will they achieve in the long term? Time shall tell.
Without allies throughout the country, as it and other movements that fought the previous governments had, it'll be difficult to accomplish what the derg general shaleka dawit said he wants (to enter 4kilo and install his govt there).

My assessment is: they have the capability to free Amara region and completely control it, forcing PP to negotiate from a position of power, after paying a big price in blood and treasure; but if they cross the border into other states, particularly Oromia; they will be entering the lions den.
Then the conflict will worsen, which is what I hope doesn't occur.

What FANO did was impressive. They destroyed the regional government and sent it packing as refugees to Addis. Unlike TDF who took the beating with million causality, Fano was a lean agile force that strike selected locations first and overwhelmed the federal force attacking it everywhere ceasing a huge cache of weapons and slipped away with minimal causality and zero capture. One U S diplomate is heard likening Fano with Taliban fighting strategies.

No need to fret, Mr. Sadacha Macca. They are well aware of the whereabouts of their assailant – Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. Once that situation is managed, everything will fall into place as it's meant to be. Anyone attempting to obstruct this progress will soon experience the consequences of their actions.

I'm Oromo. I don't fret or fear anything except the one and only Lord and creator. I just don't want the situation to go from horrible to worse, for the sake of the people, I couldn't care less about the elites regardless of what ethnicity they hail from.

I agree with your first point. On the second point though you don't make sense. what got the removal of Abiy from federal power got to do with Oromos?
