What is going on in the Amhara state is a hybrid of civil disobedience with armed violence and using civilians as human shield with the objective of quick victory over the government at any cost. That calls for the government to react with violent force & the end result is death of tens of thousands of people , lawlessness & anarchy , looting, destruction of economy & ultimately the humiliation of the Amhara people for another three decades.

The one million is not yet verified, but the majority of people killed in Tigray were due to the siege ( hunger and health related). However, I do not think the sacrifice in Amhara will be as high as in Tigray. The Tigray People defeated the entire evil Amhara, Eritrea, Ethiopia,8 regions special forces, Somalia army, Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russian, China, drones,fighters jets chasing the invaders to the gate of Addis Ababa until they begged for mercy and signed the Pretoria agreement that completely excluded evil Amhara and Eritrea who sacrificed thier own hundreds of thousands soldiers to help abiy ahmed and Ethiopian army were not even mentioned on one sentence of the peace agreement.

So you came out with the fake number to say one million Tigray fighters killed to cover up your humiliation defeat by the Tigray People but the world knows about it.

The one million dead figure is actually a lot less than the actual number; even your own leaders, such as Whiskey Migbey confirmed the 1 million rag tag death. There was not a single agame dead due to starvation or famine, food aide was delivered on daily basis with thousands of WFP and USAID trucks. Not only were agames were well feed during the war, the aide agency were on purpose also feeding the one plus million “fighters” as well. Thus, your excuse that says your people dead due to starvation is laughable
