I heard somewhere about Ethiopia having planted more trees than India did and took "world record".

Planting trees is an endeavor that requires resources, proportionally, like any other endeavor of human engagement.

Ethiopia can't provide the same level of resources as India both in terms of quality and quantity. India is a country of over 1.4 Billion population, while Ethiopia is of something around 0.1 Billion citizens.

How on earth can a country of 0.1 beat that of 1.4 ?
