Currently Ethiopia has tens of thousands of political & petty criminals inmates suffering and wasting their precious time under unhealthy & congested prisons with out adequate facility, which calls for an immediate action from the government to use it as an opportunity to rehabilitate them to be productive good citizens equipped with the Medemer Philosophy.
- Change prisons to rehabilitation centers where political prisoners & petty criminals are trained and work and earn money
- Minimum of stay in the rehabilitation centers to be six months and maximum two years
- Each rehabilitation center to have farms where new prisoners could immediately start work after a brief orientation
- Physical exercise and strict military type of discipline and training. Drug, alcohol and cigarette free environment
- Each rehabilitation center to be equipped with work shops , barber, beauty and hair dressing shops, bakery and IT training facilities
- Spiritual/ religious institutions to be part of the rehabilitation process
- Daily indoctrination with the Medemer Philosophy training manual and how to be a good citizen with regular mandatory tests and exams with minimum passing scores.
- Upon completion of rehabilitation organize and support graduates to start small scale businesses & regular monitoring of their performance.
- Repeat violators could be readmitted to rehabilitation centers but work with out earning salary.
