A cautious tale from the past regarding an arrest warrant for overseas journalists

Post by wazzupdog » 30 Apr 2023, 21:49

We have been here before. Abiyot Ahmed Ali's arrest warrant issued for certain media personalities living overseas is a familiar game taken from TPLF's playbook. Many people may not remember it, but Meles Satnawi did something similar in the aftermath of his party's defeat in the hands of CUD in 2005, and the subsequent mass protest. Here is a bit of of the story to refresh some minds. Elias Kifle of Ethiopian Review and Abraha Belai of Ethiomedia were issued arrest warrants, giving these two individuals credibility and legitimacy in Diaspora as bonafide opposition activists. How did that work out? Hmmm...

Azzupdogy,

Terrorists disguised as journalists bent on visibly and overtly propagating, organizing, funding, directing and leading massacres of innocent poor people must face the full force of the law right now when they have dispatched assassin squads everywhere but not when it becomes too late and have gained upper hands. The government and the International communities needs to actively cooperate and deal with this Rwanda style cancerous genocide merchants of death.

Otherwise we will soon be like Libya, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Sudan, etc, where by our entire beautiful people and their beautiful country may become killing fields instead becoming the vibrant exemplary healing and living garden of Eden. All of us Ethiopian nations and nationalities need to stand firm and straight behind our democratically elected government and reject all the paranoid extremist anarchist power hungry irresponsible zealots running all over the places and trying to terrorize the country. RIP Dr. Ambachew, RIP General Saare, RIP Ato Girma Yeshitila and all the other victims.

All the best for our government and the armed forces of the country. All the BAD Lucks for the overt and covert paranoid extremist terrorists who come disguised in the name of religion, trade union, etc, etc.,
