Jal Maro is consistent on his demands for self determination for the area he is fighting to control. He has been on the record insulting Jawar Mohammed. At one point, he said he has nothing to do with the Aris & Bale Oromos.
But Mr. Maro has to articulate what exactly he is looking for. Self administration under a federation is a legit demand and doesn’t need armed insurrection. Maybe he is from a generation that has been disappointed by what transpired by Gold mined from Welega. The Gold mined from Welega enriched so many in power while Welega remained dark and backward.
Regardless, Jal Mario’s remarks indicates there is a huge trouble in the Oromuma crowd.
In all this, something fundamental is overlooked: the Economy. Abiye the fool can’t get it. I think it is already late.
