This is what came to my mind as I watched PM Abiy Ahmed taking sight towards his back and in the direction of Field Marshal Berhanu Jula while getting on the stage.
It is not wondering if he asked this important question in the country filled with the whole of backstabbers. He was backstabbed by Oromos, he was backstabbed by Tigreans, he was backstabbed by the Amhara, the master of all backstabbers, especially those from Gojjam. But he is still moving, there are also reliable allies in all of these, among them the Ethiopian Military, the Guardians of the Constitution and the people.
The Oromo and Tigre backstabbers have already succumbed, the Amhara version is still in its empty bravado, empty because the Ethiopian people have decided to depart with the old way of businesses.
