2. Very few leaders in Africa or the Third World look up to him for mentorship. He is very uninformed about macro-economics and can't even maintain infrastructure built 100 years ago.
3. He's not a brave anti-Imperialism warrior. He was working with the West in the early 1990s and when he quarrelled with them, he's very paranoid about being overthrown by them. So not brave and not a principled champion of the Global South.
4. He is not known to have any grasp about information and communication technologies (ICT) that have revolutionized life in the past 25 years or so. I don't think the guy knows how to use Microsoft Word.
5. As a result, the majority of Eritreans want him gone like yesterday.
