Okay, I read the link and it only says he "negotiated", without specifying what the Ethiopian party got in return from the negotiation.

In any case negotiation and mercinariness, about which you have written in your first post (ባንዳው ዮሃንስ ለእንግሊዝ ቅጥረኛ ሆኖ ሱዳንን ሰላም ነስቶዋት ነበር) have got nothing in common.

For the first time ever, I agree with you. Yohanus was not an enemy of Ethiopia and Ethiopian people like tplf agames and akale ascaris are. That is a FACT all Ethiopians agree with and all real historians have written.
