Peace blowing in Oromia, but future uncertain

. Yes, future is, by its very nature, uncertain, nothing special here!

A day after the president of Oromia Region called for peace, the OLA released a statement saying it “maintains that a lasting and sustainable solution to Ethiopia’s complex political troubles can result only from a comprehensive political process that culminates in a negotiated settlement.” The openness of the region as well as the armed group, has led many residents of the region, experts, and politicians to have a positive outlook on the possibility of peace in Oromia.

Abey Ahmed has successfully taught his own detractors and supporters that "African solutions to African problems" is not a choice, but a must!

“African solutions for African problems ought to be applied to resolve the dispute in Oromia, and the AU is the best body to make this happen,” said a member of the opposition.

በናንተ ዘመን ኦሮሞነትን ሁሉን ልብላ ባይ ስግብግብነት አርጋችሁታል። አለም አቀፍ ከተማን ኬኛ ብላችኋል
ሚዲያችሁን ጥላቻ መትፊያ ተቋም አርጋችሁታል።

ፍቅር ሰባኪ ኦሮሞን ከሚዲያችሁ ነቅላችኋል
ሰዉ ከኦሮሞ ጋር እንዳይደሰት ለኢሬቻ ተሳደባችሁ፣
ሰዉ ከኦሮሞ ጋር እንዳያዝን በሀጫሉ ሞት ንፁሀንን አሳረዳችሁ።
ዛሬ ሰዉ ኦሮሞነትን ጠላ፣ ቋንቋዉን ተፀየፈ፣ ባህሉን ሸሸ።
ሰዉን የኔን ቋንቋና ባህል ዉሰድ ብሎ ከማስገደድ በፊት እኔ ኦሮሞነትን ምን አርጌ ፃፍኩት ብሎ መጠየቅ ተገቢ ነዉ።

በቋንቋዉ ፍቅርን ስበኩበት፣ በባህሉ መተቃቀፍን አስተምሩበት፣በስልጣናችሁ ሰዉ ማረድ ትታችሁ አራጅን ቅጡበት፣ በሚዲያችሁ ኬኛ እያሉ ማላዘንን ተዉና! የሁላችን ብላችሁ ፍቅርን ዝሩ።
