Ethiopia: UAE to build oil pipeline linking Eritrea ’s port city of Assab with Addis Ababa - Fana
4 and half years ago Fana tweeted about this infrastructure investment. Any progress on the idea? Nope, it seems Isaias was only interested in starting the war - no regional integration projects.

Ethiopia does not have any known oil or natural gas reserves.
This should be clear to everybody, As far as Somalis are concerned, the Somali’s proven oil and gas reserves in Somali state doesn't belong to Ethiopia, It belongs to Somalis and no oil pipeline that would carry oil thousands of kilometers from Somali state's oilfields to the port of Assab will be built.
Somalis have the final say on this matter (the oil and gas and where to build the pipeline).
