ጥያቄ አለኝ ማለት አግባብ ነዉ፣
ጥያቄ መጠየቅ የምችሉ ሰዎች ማሰብ የምችሉ ናቸዉ፣ በመሆኑም ይሄዉ መልሴ።

The 1995 constitution of the country, in Article 49 par. 5 states the following:

5. The special interest of the State of Oromia in Addis Ababa, regarding the provision of social services or the utilization of natural resources and other similar matters, as well as joint administrative matters arising from the location of Addis Ababa within the State of Oromia, shall be respected. Particulars shall be determined by law.

I am not aware of a similar provisioning for the rest of the so called "nations, nationalities and peoples of Ethiopia" for whom the constitution was written and adopted. You can remind me of what I missed.

Mind you that I am not defending the constitution in its entirety, but am also mindful of the fact that this is supereme law of the land today.

If we start disregarding the law as we wish, then that is calling for a chaos and lawlessness. I don't think many Ethiopians agree with that scenario.

With regard to Wolkayit I have said during the war the case should be decided by the rule of law, instead of the willful confisication of this or the other party from the presumed opponent. And I remain with the same stand so far.

With regard to the unreliability of the Tigrean mafias, we have the same mafia being poping up in the Amhara people, I don't think it was for no reason that the PM went an extra step and finally called a spade a spade "the Amhara Shane" (in addition to the Oromo shane).

The great Amhara people has the opportunity to distance itself from the rouge elements being poping up amidest itself and endangering the security of the nation itself.

The Chief-Of-Staff himself indicated in the recent interview shared on this forum the possibility or reality that the same rouge elements are working with Egypt to endanger the security of the nation. So, the big question now is, if this alllegation is true, what makes the Tigrean thugs any different from that of the Amharan thugs, both are bandas in this case.

The privilege of being reliable national guard needs to be earned and in that case the Amhara people has got a great homework to do infront of itself.

Simply following the rouge elements blindly has a price to pay for, I assume. This is mine and that one is not mine will not work here, the stake is high!


The other point I wouldn't skip without mentioning is that the unbecomming of some Amhara activists of a will not to be ungrateful.

The chief-of-staff indicated in the same interview that the Oromia region has spent the lives of thousands of its young and brave citizens to fight against the ragtag militia of Shane, and those young lives were also spent, like those which were spent in the northern war, to defend the people of Ethiopia, including and even particularly the Amhara people. And for that they were reciprocate by name calling them ተረኛ.

This is unethiopian and deviates from our core social values.

The idiot calling herself selam or whatever called the chief-of-staff a ዶማ and no one felt that is undeserved, he was on the front defending Ethiopia and the Amhara people just before months if not weeks.

What else should we wait for before calling a spade a spade?
