In a battle one could push the other today and the other could also do same tomorrow. In a war many battles are fought and the winner of the war is known once the war has ended. Tigray has not lost any war as the war with Isaias and Amhara is not yet over. Tigray has signed a peace agreement with the Ethiopian government since peace is the only way out to attain strategic peace with the government and to desmantle the allied axis of evil. The Peace Agreement have been under discussion for several months before it was signed in South Africa( https://mereja.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... 6#p1347122). Once the Peace Agreement with the Ethiopian government is crystalized and implemented, the Eritrean government shall be toppled and Eritrea becoming with out government and the Amhara forces shall also be uprooted from Tigray never to return back again. As a summary the following shall be the outcomes of the war:

- Peace Agreement between TPLF and the Ethiopian government ( in progress)
- Isaias shall be toppled and Eritrea becomes unstable and with out government until Eritreans from diaspora establish a new government.
- Displaced Tigrayans shall come back to their places.
- The Amhara state to be fragmented.

Based on the above , ultimately Isaias and the Amhara shiftas shall be the losers if the war.

Abiy & Isaias tried to come closer to Mekelle from all directions and the result was tens of thousands of their soliders we're killed and captured as prisoners of war. That was the fact on the ground. Why do you talk about Mekelle , when Isaias failed to capture Adigrat and he could not penetrate via Afar to Mekelle? Both EDF & ENDF follow strict rule of engagement i e avoid heavily populated areas from artillery based engagement. A good example is Shire where it was encircled for 3 weeks before entering with minimal damage to the residents.

Enveloping Adigrat and Mekelle and causing them to give in was a time issue rather than strength. If there is no international condemnation and rule of engagement like the one we saw in World War II. Mekelle & Adigrat wouldnt last a day.

It is a joke that you claim Isaias army follows rules of engagement. Isaias army has been indiscriminately shelling every city where they are near by. Humera, Adi Daero, Adigrat etc are typical examples. I had experienced this myself in Tigray
