How ? Positively or negatively as far as the interest of the Amharas is concerned ? A SAY can be interpreted as negative or positive it can not be both in the zeo-sum territorial issue.

As many see it what we have in Ethiopia is not a peace agreement but a settlement dictated by a single American individual (Blinken) and those who work for him ( Kenyatta). Blinken has ordered the Ethiopian authorities to hand over Amhara lands to the TPLF.

The only way the conspiracy could be defeated is by a strong stand from the Amhara leadership. In that case Dr Abyot Ahmed Ali could go to Blinken to tell him that he can not stop a war to ignite a bigger one with the Amharas.

I don't have a scintilla of doubt about the fortitude of the Ethiopian people. The pressure is not on the people but the leadership of Ethiopia. Blinken is threateningly saying : if you do not obey we are ready to punish you both financially and even physically. It is not hearsay. You are smart enough to feel the reality.

It is quite shameful to hear from you your own subjective self interest based coffee house gossip style comment as you make it that the Ethiopian people and the Ethiopian government totally 100% lacks will power in promoting its own national agendas and policies while outsiders dictate terms and conditions 100%. What on earth makes you think that the Ethiopian people and the Ethiopian government are not interested in promoting peace and achieving peace be it with the help of the outside influences or on its own?

In fact your questioning of the governments abilities and intentions to make war and peace indicates your own built in inferiority complex which you are trying to project or reflect on to the activities of the government may be for your sinister agenda. You need to keep in mind the fact that the Ethiopian government got elected in a democratically and publicly contested, transparent, free and fair election for the first time in 150 years and as such has duties to make wars for public safety and securities as well as make peace and help the people live, work, travel, enjoy and be happy in peace. The government has solid mandates which street corner gossipers and backbiter loonies like ato Ermias and co. may not have.

You seem to have just learned such bad habits from the former tplf cadres who used to think that PM Abiy will remain as their puppet just like Ex-PM HMD, but after wards tplf got badly disappointed when faced with an independent minded new Ethiopian PM making independent policies and implementing them independently according to the law.

Last but not least even your recommendation for the Amhara leadership is totally fake because the clear and clean objective of the declaration of the military operation is meant to force the gone rogue outlaw tplf bands to respect the Ethiopian law and order but never an adventure of land grabbing and ancient property take back through violence. To be honest law and order enforcement is one thing while land grabbing is totally another issue. Otherwise your hate for peace and agitation for war and violence clearly transpires through your writings and that needs to be rejected by all Ethiopians.

Tigrians and Amharas need to cool down and settle the issue peacefully on win-win principle for both and then get back to the tasks of development and prosperity for all.
