When Liberation fronts: Tplf, Olf, Eplf aka Shania and their masters want to attack Ethiopia, former kings and Amara, they bring such subjects. Since their take over and during their guerrilla war, they wanted Africans, and African Americans to disrespect Ethiopia. Remember, under the kings, especially under Menilik and H Selassie, and Ase Tedros, Ethiopia was on top of the the world, and liberation fronts and their masters have almost succeeded. The reason? So that to demote Ethiopia. So from time to time they bring such story to pit Africans against Ethiopians. You can never take what the boy out of context and Ethiopia's situation. When racists give you name to make you believe that is what you are, you are dumb enough to accept it, no matter what. There are many reasons why the boy said what he said, and if I were him, l would still believe the same thing and here is why:

When Eritreans call Tigrayans Agame, it is insult, that people that hail from Agame area must lbe look down upon. What makes this propoganda successful against Tigrayans is the insult had spread towards other Tigrayan regions as well, to mean every Tigrayans Agame are our enemies and are beneath us. If Tigrauans believe this psychological war, then they are doomed forever and clearly, it worked, their low self esteem had lead to affect Ethiopia and their own extinction. So the boy is saying, the term n... er, black was used by colonialists and slave owners to demean the people of Africa by giving this connotation. What he is saying is no one should define him what he should be.The term Black has been used to demean African origins therefore he does not accept this negative connotation.

The other reason is globalization never was before as it is today, where more African nations and the world interacting each other prior to 60s. Ethiopia due to her culture, faith, not being colonized, makes her unique in Africa and the world and was also isolated from Africa and the world living her own life. Ethiopia at the time did not experience the negative connotation like other African nations experienced, that Ethiopians and her kings see themselves in front of God, as humans but not interns of color or race! We recently began calling Westerners as whites, vwhich to me is insulting also. Ethiopians would name Westerners by their continents, Europeans or Americans. So the terms blacks, whites, are designed to be racist terms and divisive because it is about insulting individuals nature and not his bad deeds.
