This is how the TPLF/TDF leaders were terrified as ENDF was approaching to Mekele. They are the ones who begged ENDF to enter Mekele in a specific and agreed date. It looks like they were terrified and just wanted to save their lives.

According to this info, TPLF got more than what they expected. However, the diehard diaspora is clung on to the false information they have been fed for ages and advocates for the continuation of a war that has no clear objectives. Thanks to the good grace of the PM, TPLF has now gotten a life line to continue its existence.
