Revelations not from partisan interest, far from it, if I were you, I am not buying into the now constant hypothesis of the major "shellacking' of the midterm. In fact, I always prefer when one party does not control both the presidency and congress. The supposed shellacking premises are two. One the party that controls the Whitehouse always losses congressional seats in midterms, and second, the inflation factor favors Republicans.
But to counteract that there was the Supreme court decision that motivated young women to vote. They are more likely to vote for Democrats' than Republicans. Second the inflation issue is tamed by lower unemployment. The senate might be controlled by one or two more seats of either party. The house might likely go to Republican, but it is not a done deal. Nowadays, there are few Americans who vote based on the reality that exists. The great majority of Americans are partisan. They vote to their party no matter what. That makes the accuracy of polling questionable.
