Abiy's Achilles heel

Post by TGAA » 08 Oct 2022, 07:25

Here is what is going to happen if Abiy doesn't dismantle the tribalist enclave and establish a true democratic federalism soon. Here is Abiy's Achilles heel he doesn't seem to recognize: so far the west hasn't given attention to ethnic cleansing that is going on in Abiy's and Shemelis Oromia and their focus has been on Tigray where afighting has been going on with a well armed weyannes, there genocide seemed in reality farfetched (one can't be strong enough to threaten to overrun the capital city and be a victim of genocideat at the same time). But when they want to pull down Abiy from his seat they wiil bring out the evidences of Amhara's ethnic cleansing and will plaster it on major international mass media . Do anyone think those Ethiopians who came out in drove to welcome Abiy in America and Europe three years ago will come to defend him or to criminalize him? You be the judge. You will not find a single Ethiopian who is going to defend him....his statements of playing down ethnic cleansing as a mischief and comparing ethnic cleansing with Chicago's drug shoot out is going to hunt him. That is going to smear him bad never to recover from it. There is ample evidence to make Abiy the Slobodan Milošević of Ethiopia . Weyannes have done enough damage to his name, if he thinks he will stick to weyannes system and survival..he doesn't know what is up against him. The only action that would redeem him is dismantling and disowning the tribalist encloves that made life hell on earth for all Ethiopians. However, Abiy and Shimales don't hate the weyanne system but weyannes that is why he and his lieutenant Shimales trifle ethnic cleansing as a mischief and does everything to cover the messcar in OROMIA.

One way or the other this PM is a dead man walking.

He gave his middle finger to the people of Ethiopia. Specially for the Amharas who supported him and defended him from the Weyannies.

He can’t contain the Weyannies and unable to appease the west. It is a matter of time.

If you truly think TPLF is the only supporter of the current federalism, you're only deceiving yourself.
We Oromos are by far the biggest supporters of it and can't forget the Afars, Somalis, the Sidama and others.
You can propose anything you want, but you have no right or chance even, to impose your will or view upon Ethiopia.
So instead of deceiving yourself, you may as well face it, this system ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
The current system didn't make life hell on earth, especially when Ethiopia has been an overall backwards and underdevelop place well before the current system was implemented.

The Neo-colonial powers that are not happy with Ethiopians taking full control of their own country after 27 years of Neo-colonial rule, gave orders to the Tigray terrorist group to massacre Amhara civilians in Welega in an attempt to spread disinformation and incite grievances, including claims it was a government-staged event.

The Neo-colonalists have not changed their modus operandi for the destabilization of target countries. Those who blame the government for the tragic events are either TPLF cadres or gullible victims of the massive disinformation campaign.

TGAA,
You are on the money! But Sadacaha Macca is right, there a lot of Oromo nationalist who credit TPLF for giving them Killil and a basis for their current power. I know TGAA can't fail to see that fact. But as the wisdom saying goes what kills us is what we love! አረቄ የሚወድ የሚሞተው ባረቄ ነው! ስልጣን የሚወድ የሚሞተው በስልጣን ነው! Yes,Oromo nationalist love their Killil but it is the killil that will kill Oromo power and bring down የኦሮሞ ተረኛ መንግስት!!! A fundamental principle of systems thinking states that actors produce unintended consequences. Leave alone Abiy's regime, Ethiopia will not be a stable system based on ethnic balance of power. As we speak we don't even have a rudiment of ethnic balance of political and military power. These types of sources of instability are precisely the infrastructures of imperialist intervention and coups. The fool and his money are soon parted!!! ያ ማለት አቢይ ነው!!!

Ato TGAA,

let me use the chance you have given me and be a judge here.

Yes, I am going to welcome His Excelleny The PM of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed, embrace and hug him, if I were given the opportunity to do so and he decides to visit the place where I live.

So, your claim is proven wrong, if I am considered a single Ethiopian!

It is an honor to welcome a leader who was able to end the history of over half a century's dependency on ስንዴ politics of my country. I am indeed thrilled to have been able to see in my own life time this happen, for the first time ever.

Do I welcome Dr. Abiy because he allowed the massacre of innocent Ethiopians, like you claim? Absolutely NO!

I am not the opinion that he would willingly allow the killing of any Ethiopian, and I am also the opinion that no one in this world would be able to stop the killing of someone, least of all not in today's Ethiopia, where political expediency overrides anything else. A sorry state of affairs but a fact.

You expose the people you are now shedding your crocodile tears for to a danger for your own (plural) political ambitions. In that way you are a collaborator of woyane and woyane is a collaborator of those waging ስንዴ politics in this world. Go figure out this chain of dependencies and what it means for the average Ethiopians.

Those average Ethiopians will all going to embrace Dr. Abiy, even when the dependents of the chain of ስንዴ politics may attempt to boycott him and with that also boycott the interest of the average Ethiopian.

We can pinpoint the agamewoch from far and the fools from anywhere. My question is how these fools, aka idiots, are surviving in this world. And feeling sorry for their family if they do have. We know mist of them are living pay check to pay check but even for such living require.... tiny wisdom to survive.

Comparing TPLF, a minority group from a minority group, to the Oromo, the geographical and economical backbone of Ethiopia, already shows your argument is emotion based and not fact based.
It's not about power at the federal level. It's about an autonomous Oromia state ruled by Oromos, ONLY. No more being dominated by others in our own lands, whether it be an Amara elite or an Tigrayan elite.
Only Oromo will rule Oromo. That's it. Nothing less will be accepted.
Any attempt to reverse that and bring back the old Ethiopia means Ethiopia will disintegrate for sure.
At the federal level, Oromo and Amara's will always have a lot of the power, but of course we need it to be more inclusive of Gurage, Afar, Somalis, etc.

Horus,
When has Ethiopia, ever been stable? In the past, before this federalist system, it wasn't stable. From menelik to the derg, it's been a backwards, failing country dependent on the European elites to stay intact. So you cannot blame the current system for the many problems of Ethiopia.
Just say you fear and hate us Oromos because of our numerical and geographical superiority, and that you rather see us subjugated and marginalized, as opposed to running our own affairs and being in a position of power and strength. That's the truth that you arent brave enough to admit.
