I didn't know this young and talented man until before something 3 or 4 years. The first time I heard his voice, I thought it must be that of Ephrem Tamiru but then later I learned he is a different singer. His voice was so immersive and I enjoyed his music on my very first encounter.

The last time I watched his music was on the war-front singing for the NDF during the second round of Woyane's war against Ethiopia, before a year or so. His patriotic music was moving, even for us who were not on the war front. Truly motivational.

My condolences to all of his fans and above all to his family memebers.
