I don’t recall hearing this expression before yesterday? The moment I heard it yesterday, it shocked me.
What does it mean? What are its innate ambitions? What are its mechanisms to achieve them? Do such ambitions have their limits? Does such a family have a means to check its ambitions? In other words, does it have a sense of self control?
These are the shocking questions that came to mind at the moment of hearing the expression.
I have yet to read much of Socrates’ works. So, I don’t know if he had any sense of such an entity to exist anywhere on this planet.
