In a true democracy, journalists like Gobeze Sisay are champions of freedom and ethics, not treated like criminals. He deserves to be an esteemed award winner, not someone to spend even a minute in the hands of thugs. He spoke and voiced what is in plain sight, nothing out of the reality. He reported the plight of Wollo Amhara people who have been the prime habitual victims of TPLF in Wollo and elsewhere by OLF. These people have enough reason to not trust PP ( unless doing the same thing over and over is NOT insanity). So, in stead of answering the dissatisfaction of Wollo people, from whom Gobeze Sisay is coming from, they are arresting him. This is called killing the messenger for hating the true message. Another evidence of the immaturity of PP-OLF. Immatures love to be spoiled by false praise such as done by Wutaf-Neqay YouTubers.

Let's not forget EZEMA/ESAT holds grudge against him for exposing the truth when the war broke out. They told him he can't report what he saw. He used his Facebook page to tell the truth. ESAT fired him immediately. Andagachew Tsige asked him to return the suit they gave him to use when he was reading the news on ESAT. It was used for a year. It shows you how cheap and low they can go! Being a gentleman, he was hesitant to share the story with Abebe Belew.
