Hig Le Lib “Law For Heart”
Haymanot is not only Hig it is Spirituallity. If Religion was based on laws Religion would be no different then worldy Governments.
A system of Laws are found in every society and every culture on earth. A lawless people will always remain dysfunctional
Law/Hig was made to make humanity function out of dysfunction
Religion is Spirituality + Laws. A people who have religion can name their gods and their gods will give them Laws and essence
The basis of Judaism is the 10 commandments and the worship of Elohim. Elohim needed the Levitical Priests to obey the Laws of Purity and Holiness for them to enter the Temple. The Jews had to sacrifice a lamb yearly in order for the tribes of Israel to gain forgiveness and redemption from their dysfunctions also called “sin”
The Jews just like every society could not obey the laws and always violated the Laws that is why Redemption was needed. The Lamb would be slain and its blood represented its life which had to pay for the sins of Israel. The Bible says the wages of Sin is death.
African Religions have no Redemption/Forgiveness this is because Africans are very hard on themselves and on each other. Africans are very condemning. The religions of Africa are not based on Laws at all or even Law Keeping.
It makes sense that once a law is violated it is no longer worth keeping and following. Redemption gave the law purpose and meaning.
Christ represents the Lamb of God (Isaac and Abraham) that God”Aba” would sacrifice his body and his blood as a eternal redemption for sin.
The Jews and their temple in jerusalem was destroyed in 70 Ad the Jews could not have any sins forgiven for over 2,000 years. This is why the Old Testament is a reflection of Christ.
Christ is God the Son. His orginal name is “Word of God” “ የእግዚአብሔር ቃል” meaning Christ is a Spirit. That entered a human body in 4 BC and his body died on a cross in order for the Laws to be made perfected and whole.

Re: Higlelib
The local Religions of Aksum was based on the worship of Beasts Dragons and Snakes similar to the Egyptians and Nubians. This means the ancient Ethiopians worshipped Demons
So when Judaism and Coptic Christianity came it easily defeated the local pagan religions. The People could not pride themselves by worshipping Idols which do not speak do not hear and do not see. Idols which they made with their own hands. Nor could the People of Abisinnia proud themselves of worshipping Dasak Awre and Dino. Gods of Beasts Dragons and Snakes for these things are evil and illogical to worship. A beast will kill you, a Dragon will kill you, a Snake will kill you.
Just as Queen Sheba said “I worship the Sun but you O Solomon worship the God of the Sun” This also reveals the orgin of Queen Sheba which is Nubia. Ethiopians never worshipped the Sun. Rather it was the Nile based Egyptian and Nubians who worshipped the Sun The Israelites migrated to Amhara Region during the Aksumite Dynasty maybe around 200 AD from the Nile River and came to Gondar and began their own Beta Israel “House of Israel” Kingdom. Beta Israel spanned from Armachiho/Qwara/Humera to Inda Aba Guna/ Simien Mountians/ Belesa down to Lake Tana. During the rise of Amhara Christian Atses. Amhara began to convert Abysinnian Jews to Christianity in hopes they will accept Christ. The Wars between Jew ans Christian was based on unity and commonhood. The Zagwes claimed to be the descendants of Moses (Levites) . The Falashas claimed to be the decadents of the tribe of Dan in Israel. The Bete Amharas claimed to be the descendants of Solomon (House of David) so in Amhara there was already a large Loyalty towards the Israelite History.
The tribes of Israel are represented in Amhara as
Zagwe Christians “Tribe of Levi” “ Holiness, Priesthood, Guards”
Falasha Jews “Tribe of Dan” “Lacks Faith, Vanishing”
Amhara Christians “Tribe of Judah” “Royals,Centralized, Imperial”
