How to solve 80 % of Ethiopia's Problems ! The 80/20 Pareto Rule!

Post by Axumezana » 08 Apr 2022, 14:55

(1)The current overriding problem of Ethiopia:

Perpetual chaos, conflict/war and instability

(2) Drivers of the problem

(2.1) External drivers

- Isaias intervention / with Egypt at the back
- Egypt Intervention / with Sudan/armed groups at the front
- USA intervention / with Egypt at the back
- Arab intervention / with Egypt at the back
- China/ Russia/ Turkey- diverse self interests

( 2.2) Internal drivers

- Weak , unstable and confused Federal government
- Constitution
- Ethnics politics
- Armed local governments
- Militarized & agitated population
- Dictatorship ( one man rule, not willing to loose power)

(3) Integrated view

80 % of Ethiopia's overriding problems are caused by the intervention of Egypt and Eritrea.

(4 ) Solution

( 4.1 ) Solving 80% of current Ethiopias problems

- Remove Isaias from power and help Eritrea to have a new government

- Deny Egypt to destabilize Ethiopia through it's agents by establishing an all inclusive transition government of all armed and not armed politicians. The transition government to conduct democratic election within six months shall be replaced by elected government.
- Absorb all armed groups to local or Federal government's
- Partial banning of certain articles of the constitution

- PP/ Abiy to participate in the transition process ( as participant only) or if war continues & militarily defeated , higher officials PP to be removed/exiled and PP reintegrated with TPLF to form a new national integrated non-ethnic party( after all Abiy stole EPRDF from TPLF).

- A Militery and Security institutions to be occupied and led by non partisan personnel elected by the transition government until a new elected government is established

(4.2) Actions by the elected government ( Solve 20% of the Problems)

- The new elected government to engage Egypt for a commercialized win-win agreement that allows Egypt and Sudan to invest on more dams in the Abay Gorge to store more water ( water bank) and generate power.
- Revise the existing constitution
- Ban ethinic politics( in addition to faith based parties) by law and force existing ethinic based parties to merge and consolidate to form national, cross-ethinic parties
- Deeper democratic reforms, based on individual rights and new Confederated/ Federated structure with out compromising the territorial boundaries of the country
- Establish multilateral alliance/ partnership with the West and East with out siding or becoming the puppet of either of them.
- Privatization of land and further liberalization of the economy
- Propel the country toward rapid economic, social and technological advancements and growth.
