Tigray's last stand, its last barricade is the defence of its fragile ego.
Tsadqan told himself (not us, mind you) he turned from outside Addis because of US pressure
To hell with reality, to hell with facts, defend the ego at all costs.
The kryptonite for this kind of behaviour is disdain, not disdain here and there, not disdain every now and then, but mass disdain that never lets up.
That is how Eritrea does it, a fragile ego cannot withstand the powerful force of genuine scorn and derision.

The contrast between Semhal Meles and Mical Filipos captures the contrast between Tigray and Eritrea.
It is mind-boggling how two societies can share hundreds of kms of common borders and yet be so different. I just cannot wrap my mind around this.
Two societies that share 100s of kms of common border, one kicks out US-Aid and the other demands ኣፋጣኝ አርዳታ from every NGO with a permit to operate anywhere on the planet.
What is even more mind-boggling is that both are proud of what they do and who they are
One is proud of saying thanks, but no thanks. The other proud of begging to get the next shipment
