As the operation against OLA fails a counter attack( offensive) from OLA is expected that will cause further instability and blood shed including in Addis Ababa . Similarly the FANO with out a consolidated leadership , cohesive structure and political structure is in the process of destabilizing the Amhara state and it is also expected to widen it's involvement out of Amhara ( Addis Ababa, Oromia, Tigray, Benshangul-Gumuz etc) In addition Egypt and Eritrea are working day and night to disintegrate Ethiopia by adding fuel to Ethiopia's internal problems and they are expected to redouble their efforts. Before it's is too late Abiy has to resign immediately and the militery has to take over and immediately announce cease fire with all internal warring parties except reversing the agression of Eriteria.
The temporary militery government has to facilitate the formation of a transition government within 3 months that involves all parties ( including PP) and including all armed groups fighting the government including OLA, TPLF and FANO.
The transition government has to prepare the country for democratic election within 6 to 9 months from its establishment and an elected democratic government has to be established to further stabilize the country and propelling it to fast economic growth.
Abiy is trying his best to ride against the tide he by himself caused on himself and the country by allowing the Egypt agent Isaias to control the country, for not resolving internal political differences in a peaceful manner and failing in his promise to transition Ethiopia to democracy. However, it is already too late and his immediate resignation is mandatory to save Ethiopia from further deep crises.
