Unless Ethiopians get rid of the TPLF cancer and totally defeat the Tigrayans, the gradual fragmentation of Ethiopia is certain. I cannot imagine that Abiy does not know this. So why is he so reluctant to defeat the TPLF and subdue Tigray? Why has he refused to protect Afar from Tigrayan encroachments? Why has he not evicted TPLF rag-tag militia from Adi-arkay and Alamata. It is obvious that he does not want to defeat Tigray. He wants the Tigray-Amhara conflict to go on! His flowery rhetoric about Ethiopia are just that, empty words of a salesman!
