We need to use English only on this forum. Tigrigna, Oromo and other languages can be used. Amharic should be banned. This will bring more understanding among peoples. The amara are minority, They are may be 7 million. Non-Amara should not use Amharic. We have to burn all books in Amharic. No daily in Amharic. Because it is a language that uses many anti-human words. This is the easiest way of getting the Amhara domination disappear.

By the way, the Somali started banning Amharic in their private schools in Fin Finne 10 years ago. Then the Oromo started schools in their language. Tigray used amharic and Tigrigna. Now only Tigrigna. Amharic is banned in Tigray

You are wrong! People in rural Ethiopia do not speak Amharic because it is not their mother tongue. It is not the lingua franca in Ethiopia. Amharic has been abused by Amara extremists making the Amara as the centre Ethiopian or African history. This is not the case. Somali have their own proud history. The Oromo have their own history. This is not mentioned in all amharic literature and books. Besides The Amara use words which are universally accepted conceptually. We do not need to have 2 generations have suffered. Making another generation suffer is simply acceptable. The Somali, Afari, Oromo can use arabic, which linked to their day today life. Tigray uses Tigrigna and will be using Arabic for trade and many other issues. |Thus we need to ban amharic. Burn all the books in Amharic. Sir, think about before giving a jerk reaction. You will hardly find any amharic speakers in the Somali region except a few in jijiga who choose to learn it at school or have amharic speaking neighbours. Reason is we simply have no reason to. Amharic is not the sole official language or a “lingua Franca” in Ethiopia and never has been. It’s just another language spoken by an ethnic group we have little to no interaction with. On the other hand many Somalis especially along the border speak afaan oromo because this is actually the most beneficial foreign language for us to learn given proximity and trade with oromia. There are entire towns along the border who’s inhabitants are bilingual in both lanagues (Babile, Gursum, Jinacsi, Kombolcha etc)

I for sure know all of you who are victims of self-inflicted inferiority complex hater are fluent speakers and articulate writers of Amharic. You like to write and speak Amharic than your own local tribal langauge. Amharic is not a tribal language, it is a national and is also a continetntal langauge. Amharic has about 50 million native speakers and 55 million none-native speakers(second tounge). The Amharic syllabary (Ethiopic Alphabet) are the most economical and elegant scripts used in writing.
