The different variants of ክፉ ሰው

Post by justo » 10 Mar 2022, 17:18

Abyssinia lady writes "Ethiopia used Eritrea and dumped it", and seems to be mighty proud of this behaviour. In Ethiopia it seems ብልጥ ሰው is very much admired, people don't seem to understand that it is because of ብልጥ ሰው and ብልጥ ክልል that Ethiopians been killing and displacing each other.

These are the different variants of ክፉ ሰው, the way I understand Amharic

ጥሩ ሰው
በጎ ሰው
ትልቅ ሰው
ቅኑ ሰው
ብልጥ ሰው
ሞኝ ሰው
ክፉ ሰው

When I look at the different type of Ethiopian politicians, ጥሩ ሰው (Debebe Eshetu), በጎ ሰው (Mesfin Woldemariam), ትልቅ ሰው (Haile Shawel), ቅኑ ሰው (Haile Araya), ብልጥ ሰው (Birhanu Nega), ሞኝ ሰው (Lidetu Ayalew) and ክፉ ሰው (Meles Zenawi) seem all to be the same.

I had great hopes that Lemma Megersa and Andargachew Tsige would be different, I don't know if they are any different.

Not proud of it, I think it's just sad, Abiy Ahmed has disappointed Eritrea.

Whoever publishes the next Amharic dictionary should put Meles Zerawi as the #1 example of ክፉ ሰው:: No one else comes even close to that ugly midget.

I don’t know about the other folks but I would put ብልህ ሰው in 3rd place from top down.

You would expect Ethiopia would be for ever grateful for what Eritrea did at a time of Ethiopia's greatest need, but that might be too much to ask of a ጥሩ ሰው, በጎ ሰው, ትልቅ ሰው, ቅኑ ሰው, ብልጥ ሰው, ሞኝ ሰው and ክፉ ሰው.

This kind of behaviour and the thing you call "disappointment" will help erect a mental wall, which is good for Eritrea, hope mental wall is also good for Ethiopia.

Eritrea did absolutely nothing for Ethiopia, Eritrea became involved in the conflict because it feared the TPLF.

TPLF is a laughingstock among Eritreans. I never met in my life any Eritrean who expressed any kind of fear for the TPLF. People are generally dismissive and contemptuous whenever the TPLF is mentioned. I think this is one of the things, if not the MAIN THING that deeply bothers the TPLF.

Perhaps Eritrean civilians are not afraid of TPLF but the Eritrean government certainly fears the TPLF, Let's not forge the TPLF sealed Eritrea fate.

* It's been attempted before, ad- nauseum and ad- infinitum, by people with way higher intelligence than you, to separate the Eritrean people and their govt to no avail.

It's water tight, you 5th columnist.

I suggest you conserve your time & energy, than trying to achieve that impossible feat.

* The Eri govt, fearing the junta? Really? Ok, Eddie Murphy. "Sealing Eritrea's fate"? What's that? Constantly, looking up for predator drones?

A more neutral observer would say it's TPLF's fate that is sealed, Abay x 2 (Tsehaye and Woldu), Seyoum, Nega x 3 (Sebhat, Kudsan, Tekeste).
The Eri gov is alive and kicking, and is as dismissive and contemptuous (if not more) of the TPLF as the average Eritrean.

The dismissive attitude of Eritreans towards TPLF and Tigray is a fascinating topic, but one for another time.

Abyssiniahoe, if tplf believes that the Eritrean govt fears it, why is tplf afraid to go inside Eritrea and oust the Eritrean regime?
Didn’t you funfunat agames tell us to not call you tegarus if you don’t step your ugly coward feet in Asmara. You even have a song for it.
Our silence and rejection is doing you more damage than spanking your as’ses.
Well, if you want to prove us wrong stop your empty fukerra and march or again shoot one missile towards Eritrea’s territories,
if you have any that is.
Stop playing with a sleeping lion’s tails.
There is no power in the world which Eritrea is afraid of, let alone you rats agame.
We don’t even consider your tribe as humans, but rats.
And that is irritating you.
Mission accomplished with out a single bullet cost.
