Tiffany Haddish was warmly welcomed by her village men and women and recieved a parcel of land (ጤሳ), as it's her birth- right, at Geza Keren in Adi Quala sub zone.

Abe,

Good for her! Was that an exception made for Tiffany? Or things have changed that even you can get a plot from your ancestral land you wanted? :P

You know, that 1975 land nationalization made by Derg is what was inherited and probably used in Eritrea as it is in Ethiopia. The "Party Cadres" decide who to sell and who to give land to; a lot of it is done underhandedly. Come to think about it, there are some good about it however, I assume Eritreans probably faired better than Ethiopians. At least Asmara & other places are not destroyed by concrete jungle. I honestly envy that

AA where I am from, was practically ruined by TPLF/EPRDF; they built in many ugly concrete crap in every neighborhood play ground; kids don't have places to play soccer in their neighborhoods anymore. After Abiy however, it looks that someone has come to power who likes the city, has some attachment to it and is looking after it today; parks, Zoo, walkways are being expanded and built. That is wonderful; I look forward to go back now more than ever.

Good luck!

To begin with, it seems that I am a late comer to the pertinent topics which are on high gear and which caused feud, and mistrust between the amiches who happen to be the majority (minus few genuine eris) and the amharas.

As an Eritrean, I swear, I have absolutely NO clue, who tesfaye gebreab or teffany is. Can any average amiche update me in few lines as who they are? Including their share for the well-being of eritreans with the assumption that they are eritreans.

I am all ears.

As an opportunist Agame, here you're trying to widen whatever crack you thought you found. No no my friend.......You Agames wouldn't get any respite from us, no matter how loud some distractors noise gets. Besides, as someone who was raised in Addis, I attest to the goodness of the Amhara people. At least, the majority of Amharas have a sense of indebtedness and fear of God!

Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the Agames!

Now, the thread is about our own Tiffany. If you have something to say about that, we're all ears. Otherwise, Get lost, Agame boy!

I could tell you a long and much interesting story but I will keep it short. My problem is not corruption but geography. My ancestral village is in Asmara. Everyone wants to have our lands and insult us. There is no corruption in Eritrea. It is not in our nature, in the nature of Muslims and Christians without being too religious. All what the government does is done in the framework of : it serves the society. I am dispossessed and continuously insulted to make others happy.

Tiffany went to her ancestral village and got her land. They have there much more space than we do in Asmara. There is no such thing as making exception in Eritrea even if your name is Issaias Afeworki Abraham,Philippos Wolde-Yohannes,Sibhat Ephraim,Saleh Mekki,Girmay Sandiago,Jande and Stephanous Abraham (Zemach).
