TPLF failed on many fronts but its greatest failure is that it did not teach its own people their own language. Meles's generation never even imagined that one could write a letter to his family in Tigrigna. It was a revelation to them that it could be done. So for 27 years, the Amharization continued because their plan was to rule Ethiopia for 100 years, and for that, Tigrigna was useless. They never imagined that the day would come when they would be forced out.

I read every tweet in the replies above and am dumb-founded to note that not a single one is grammatically correct. It is obvious that those responding are not illiterate, but their Tigrigna would get an F in a 3 grade class. And I am being generous with the 3rd grade. But even Prof. Kindeyas tweets are Tigrigna-illiterate. What a ludicrous situation, a people who cannot speak or write their own language properly aspiring to be independent.
