Despite congressional opposition, Biden moves to end Ethiopia’s AGOA eligibility
December 23, 2021 at 11:23 AM
President Biden on Thursday terminated Ethiopia’s eligibility for benefits under the African Growth and Opportunity Act despite pleas from lawmakers to give the war-torn country more time to comply with AGOA criteria. The proclamation terminates Ethiopia as AGOA beneficiaries, effective Jan. 1. Biden said Ethiopia doesn't meet AGOA criteria, as set out in section 506A(a)(1) of the Trade Act of 1974. Those criteria include the rule of law, labor and human rights standards.

These kind of actions are why no one trusts Tigray and ordinary women and children have to pay heavily.
Stop the herd mentality and question things.
Ethiopian Airlines is African pride. While it may have been forced to transport Amhara militias including ones wearing "ENDF" uniforms, there are better ways to address it.
The airline is a victim too forced to do the wrong things.
Two wrongs don't make it right.
EA has Tegaru CEO and he is amongst the best CEOs in the world.

I'm educated unlike you.
First lesson; there's nothing called Somalian.
It's Somali.
That's the difference education makes.
