Obbo Taye Dendea took the fight to the UN, after the US-Embassy in Addis
His main contention point: undue interference in the internal affairs of others in the name of HR, selectively, collides itself with the main tenets of defending HR. It is discriminatory and lacks moral high-ground expected from a respected HR defender, as it is used to put undue pressure on a sovereign member state of the UN.
