Weyane is a typical mafia gang that has no political agenda other than power and self-aggrandizement. The TPLF leaders are unique among leaders who came to power through a disciplined and long armed struggle to have been totally corrupted by theft. They have all become millionaires and billionaires by naked thievery. Millions of Tigrayans lived for the 27 years that TPLF was in power on donated food aid, while their leaders stole their way into fabulous wealth. They have no principle other than looting. It is very revealing that they wanted desperately to go to Addis to go back to their looting days. When they arrived in Mekele after the dismissal from power, they found their new situation very inferior and schemed and dreamed of going back to their golden days as shakers and makers in full control of Ethiopia's coffers. Like a typical gang that is driven by greed, they had no qualms about sacrificing hundreds of thousands of Tigrayans for their evil agenda. Looters and thieves are the lowest form human life. All of them have settled their families abroad and have been playing with the lives of the hapless people of Tigray who have followed them like a herd of cattle.

I repeat, they are no better than a mafia group and will be dealt with like a gang of criminals. It would have been to their eternal credit had Tigrayans gotten rid of this cancer on their own. But it looks like the TPLF gang is taking Tigray down the drain with themselves.

Just sign a peace agreement already, you clearly can't defeat them in the field, and Addis is too far away for them to take apparently without overextending themselves, so it's a stalemate.
