Prosperity Party should quickly call for a vote of no confidence on Abiy if they want to be part of Post-Abiy transition

Post by sarcasm » 21 Nov 2021, 20:12

Abiy Ahmed should not be involved in the transition period. The Prosperity Party should seriously appraise the PMs decision for choosing war over discussions as advised by Senator Coons.

Senator Coons has given Abiy many examples to warn him about the risks of choosing the path of conflict. But Abiy ignored stern warnings and went ahead with Isaias's and Amhara elite's choice of resolving the problem. And millions and millions of Ethiopians are dying, losing their property and getting displaced as a consequence of his decision to go to war.

After 370 days of war, his option of resolving the problem, war, has resulted in the devastating demolition of the country's national army. He controls less area than before of the war. His choice of resolution has caused 10s of thousands to die, millions to be displaced, genocide to be committed Ethiopians by the PMs directions etc etc.

Now the questions PP members need to answer are:

  • Would members of Prosperity Party want to be lead by a failure such as Abiy ?

  • Should they not make him accountable for his serious lack of judgement?

  • Would the rest of Ethiopia and the world take them serious if they do not remove him from their party?

"I urged PM Abiy to step back from conflict & take the path of compromise before he launched offensive in Tigray" Senator Coons

Will Prosperity Party leadership use Abiy's decision to go to the battlefront and lead the war as a good opportunity to replace him as he cannot perform political leadership function of a Prime Minister from the war front?

He has already relinquished his power and responsibility as Biden did. His statement said the leaders remaining behind will perform the duty expected of the government in development and economics and so on. He specifically advised them to handle those responsibilities of leading the country aside from the war. But the war is/will be over in the next 24-48 hours.

But my belief is the statement was prepared and delivered by the officials remaining behind after they realized he escaped. Poor them, they must be scared and crying just like the Afgan officials left behind.

Edu/Eden,

You are talking about your own emotion by projecting it on others. Have you heard about the drone attacks on Mekele ? Very important people are gone. Don't cry, please !!

None of them sre important to me. Debresion is just a foot soldier if you are talking about him. I only consider the seven evil woyanes that are influential in Tigray and TPLF politics. Three of them are dead and the main one is incapacitated due to age. The rest are roaming around away from danger. Let me name them for you:
1- Arkebe Equbai
2- Siye Abreha
3- Bereket Simon(hidden in a safe house in Bahirdar- TPLF baptized shrewd satan)
4- Aboy Sibhat(incapacitated)
