I still don't understand the moronic leadership of the Amharas because they refuse to plan and organize their own battles and instead they're waiting for ENDF to liberate them. Militarily you need a 3:1 advantage to attack and take territory, without this you can only defend, an attack as an inferior force is suicide.

Armies attack or defend based on the situation, and Amhara forces are on the defensive because they are outgunned.
