Afaan Oromo from Russia, Abstract of history and contemporary
Before Afaan Oromo was declared to eradication by the expansionist leper Amhara regime in the 1980s, it was spoken in many countries of Horn of Africa: Eritrea, Sudan, Somalia, Kenya and Uganda etc including Abyssinia on top of its homeland Oromia. Under the colonial regime headed by leper Menelik king of Amhara who occupied Oromia, Afaan Oromo was close to extinction. Under TPLF dominated federal regime, thanks to heroes in OLF, it got Oromia’s institutional support to revive. Now under undeclared OLF lead QBO aka OLA government of Oromia, Afaan Oromo gained international peace lovers’ attention including Russia.
