Ethiopia’s Tigray crisis ‘set to worsen dramatically’: UN

War-hit region facing severe shortage of aid, cash and fuel due to ‘de facto humanitarian aid blockade’, UN says.

Ten months since the start of Ethiopia’s Tigray war, the United Nations has warned that the humanitarian situation in the country’s northernmost region is set to “worsen dramatically”.

“Stocks of relief aid, cash and fuel are running very low or are completely depleted. Food stocks already ran out on 20 August,” Grant Leaity, the UN’s acting humanitarian coordinator for Ethiopia, said in a statement on Thursday.

“The region remains under a de facto humanitarian aid blockade, where access to bring life-saving humanitarian relief continues to be extremely restricted,” Leaity added, noting that no trucks had been able to enter Tigray since August 22.

Enforce "Free fly zone" on Ethiopia and Eritrea until TDF liberates Western Tigray or takes control of Assab port.

The Ethiopian government sent 72 trucks loaded with food aid to Tigray, but the TPLF terrorists confiscated all 72 trucks (with a wink-and-nod agreement forged between the TPLF and Samantha Power), and they are now using the stolen trucks to transport their child soldiers to invade the Afar and Amhara regions using human-wave child-wave military tactic, where majority of the poorly-trained child soldiers have been killed.

If not sending trucks to Tigray will save the lives of Tigray's child soldiers, don't call it a blockade. It is a humanitarian intervention.

Agame !!!! start digging deep in to your pockets, piggy backing is over. All the Billions you took out of the starving Ethiopian people's mouth now it is time to use it to what ever suit you be it cash, fuel or food. Ethiopian government may be a fool but, not to that extent where it would give you cash and fuel to buy and transport weapons and move your Rag-tag militia in order to attack the country.
Like it has been said " You ain't seen nothing yet" The Cursed land will see more atrocities so long it keeps harboring the Junta !!!
