From Federal Ethiopia to Confederated Ethiopia!
About 30 years ago TPLF and OLF restructured Ethiopia from unitary and centralized structure to a Federal Structure. The Federal Structure has empowered local states to manage their resources and visible and undeniable developments were achieved in social, economic, political, education, infrastructure and technology through out Ethiopia. It also empowered marginalized and undermined people to organize and assert for more empowerment that the undemocratic and corrupted EPRDF was not able to timely address. This internal problems coupled with external pressures from arch enmies of Ethiopia ( Egypt and Isaias) and betrayal and treason of EPRDF members ( Abiy and his team) brought Ethiopia to where it is today. The way forward is to further restructure Ethiopia to confederated states( with one liberalized market, liberalized labour movement, currency, monetary policy, integrated infrastructure use and development, integrated use and development multimodal transportation, one passport etc). The Confedrated Ethiopia could progressively include Eritrea, the two Sudan's, Somalia and Djibouti)

Forget the unitary Ethiopia that was established by the dehumanization of the Oromo, Agew , Tigray, Afar, Sudan's, Welaita etc dreamed by Gondare elities.The way forward is a Confederated Ethiopia!
