I met Joy-Ann in 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina after Yohannes Abraham, who is now Biden’s National Security Council Chief of Staff, pulled some strings behind the scenes and made sure that I received a press credential to cover the Democratic National Convention. Far from rubbing elbows with political operatives at a swanky convention, I met Laura Ingraham three years later when I first became homeless.

I have been very hard on mainstream media personalities for the past six years; I have roundly condemned them for refusing to honor the spirit of muckrakers; instead of exposing corruption within government, corporations and powerful institutions, they have cast their lot with them. My rhetoric has been particularly harsh towards Ms. Reid and to a lesser extent Ms. Ingraham. There is a reason for this, though I met both of them at different times, there is a common thread between the two renowned pundits who are beamed into the homes of millions of people on a nightly basis...continued...
