If Abiy is going to continue to undermine the Western Countries in compliance with the prescriptions from his master Isaias, Ethiopian Airlines is going to be the prime target of sanction to force Abiy to submission.
The following are the impact of the grounding of Ethiopian Airlines:
- Ethiopian Airlines will be history as it will be impossible to restart a grounded airline
- Ethiopia's only bridge to the world ( with no sea port) will be lost and Ethiopia will be economically , politically and socially isolated
- Tourism and the hotel industry will collapse( already on the brink of collapse due to COVID-19 and the on going civil war. Loss of hundred thousand jobs and billions of dollars annual loss.
- All international offices in Addis Ababa including the African Union will migrate to other African countries( Kenya, Egypt, South Africa)
