On the face of it, the current Afgan situation exactly mimics the removal of Mengistu Hailemariam. What is not clear is the American motive and strategy.

But the optics are a disaster for America. We have seen images like this since the collapse of Saigon.

This is going to change the geopolitical dynamics of Indo Asia and entire Middle East.

The very first impact will be American misadventure in Ethiopia.

It is for sure the Americans who installed the Taliban in power. They gave the two previous adminstrations ample chances to reign on the taliban and Afghan warlords without any success. So they now gave power to the powerful. That is always the American policy all along.

They are now executing the same plan in Ethiopia. That is why we should remove the spineless Abiy before they do it for us and give Woyane puppet another chance. I am one thing sure about is that woyane will not hold direct power in Addis anymore, but one controlled by woyane will be unless Abiy give up power immediately and a democratic technocratic group of capable individuals takes power. Yes, Abiy is American installed and a puppet. The question you should ask is why the fallout then? First and for most Abiy is proved to be brainless and too ambitious to execute his own childhood dream. The second reason is they are now using him to get to Isayas, basically he becomes a collateral in their adventure to topple Isaayas. The reason they want to use him for toppling Shabia is that he is so stupid he just stepped in to the trap they assumed he would get in to, but he did it very easily.

False assumption! Taliban was created by the US back in the old days of the Cold war to fight against the Soviet backed communist regime of Afghanistan being led by Dr. Mohammad Najibullah whom the Taliban killed and then took over power. After getting enough resources and fighting experiences Taliban Turned against its US mentor and ousted them from Afghanistan and giving refuge to US enemies such as Bin Laden. This angered the Us and initiated the mother of all the invasions that lasted some 20 long years culminating in to the current Taliban victory and the defeat of the opponents. Taliban as a grass root traditional movement means that its swords cuts in two directions, that is to say, Left and Right or East and West regardless of who you think you are. Most governments wish to normalize relations and deal with that government on state to state basis in order to minimize even more damages.
