If the capture of Maychew is confirmed, ENDF must have realy be cooking something for TPLF to move further and further from its core. This military move will create huge panic for Tegaru in all direction. those near south Gonder and North Wollo will surely turn back to unblock the blockage. in the processes, they will be open from front, back and air. They might even try to bring their forces around welkayt to this front and expose Axume and Shire.

I can not wait to hear from government media like Amhara Media communication or EBC. It still makes sense to me. It is more strategic to hit TPLF just inside Tigray and cut it off from crawling like roaches in the open. Maichew should have been the pace where ENDF stationed itself when ordered to pull out of Meqelle. Maichew is the border and should fall within Ethiopian side , not on the separatist and land looter's side.

The same here. How did they do it without passing through Mehoni is really bizarre for me. someone posted Araya Tesfamariams twitt in which he claimed that he confirmed from credible sources. It must have been like a D-Day landing if this news has truth in it

TPLF is like ተቆርጦ በብርጭቆ ውሃ ወስጥ የተቀመጠ ተከል ወይም አበባ ይሆናል። ትንሽ ቆይቶ ጠውልጎ ደርቆ ይሞታል። The best way to decimate or stop TPLF is to hit it right in Tigray and it is in areas like this. ENDF does this it will finally cut the head of the snake. Don't waste too much energy being a pace maker in the open.
